Barbara Jean Doak, 67, Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at the Danville Center for Health & Rehab, Danville. Born July 7, 1953, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late George Doak and the late Elizabeth Turner. Barbara was a member of the Harrodsburg Community Church and was an avid UK Basketball fan. Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Ann (Donnie) French of Harrodsburg; one son, Ronnie Edward Doak of Harrodsburg; one brother, George Doak of Louisville; two grandchildren, Allison Paige French, Harrodsburg, and Rylee Jane Logsdon of Crestwood, KY; two bonus grandsons, Levi & Lane French; Special Aunt, Ruth Brown of Burgin. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Ann Roberts and William Fudge. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in Burgin Memorial Garden, Burgin, KY. Visitation will be 11AM - 1PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Memorials are suggested to: Harrodsburg Community Church.
