Michael Eugene Click, 63 of Harrodsburg; Ky died at his home March 9th 2021. Born August 5th, 1957 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Sidney Eugene “Gene” and Barbara Dickerson Click and the husband of Kevinie McKinney Click, Harrodsburg.
Mike was retired from Kentucky Utilities, a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, a charter member and 4th degree knight of the Apostles Council of the Knights of Columbus. Mike was a Kentucky Colonel, served as Chairman of the Harrodsburg School Board, a board member of the Harrodsburg Historical Society and a Longtime chairman of their Buildings and Grounds Committee. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association as well as a board member of the Farm Services Agency. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Mike enjoyed farming, history and his time with his family and friends.
Survivors, other than his wife, include two sons, Shawn Patrick and Michael Brian (Julene) Click, three grandchildren: Clayton Michael, Julius Gage, and Kaitlynn Jo Click all of Harrodsburg, a large extended family along with his brothers and lifelong friends of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was preceded in death by a sister Cheryl “Sherri” (Mike) Sheperson.
Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 12, 2021, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Fr. J. R. Hadnagy, Fr. Anthony McLaughlin, and Dea Brian Wentz. Visitation will follow a brief Prayer Service at 5 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021, and after 10 AM, Friday, at the church.
Pallbearers: Tom Hillman, Brian Ward, Keith Daniel, Randy Biggs, Jack Klotzback, Doug Long, and Jackie Major, Mike Baxter , Blake Alvey.
Memorials are suggested to St. Andrew Maintenance Fund, 1125 Danville Rd, Harrodsburg, KY 40330, or to The Harrodsburg Historical Society for Building and Grounds, 220 S Chiles St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
