Gary Lynn Mayes
Gary Lynn Mayes, age 49, 708 Cloverdale Dr., Harrodsburg, died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at his residence.
Born May 26, 1955 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of Eugene Lee and Lillie (Freeman) Mayes of Mackville, KY. He was an employee of Stratton Home Improvement of Harrodsburg and a member of the Bruners Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors, other than his parents include: two sons: Gabriel Mayes, and Joshua Mayes both of Shelbyville, KY.; one sister, Shirley (Jim) Gunter of Punta Gorda, FL; two brothers: McKinley (Gayle) Mayes of Punta Gorda, FL, and Orban (Gayle) Mayes of Harrodsburg; a grandson, Elijah Mayes and Special Friend, Robin Jims.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, November 29th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mark Sturart officiating. Burial will be in the Bruner´s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Dan, Chris, and Jarrod Mayes, Jerry and Tim Bottom and Jad Farhat.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm Sunday and after 7:30 am Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
