Frances Darlene Benedict, 70, Gravel Switch, KY, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born April 27, 1950, in Grant County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Juanita Frances (Webster) Richardson.
Survivors include: one daughter: Melinda (Billy) Whittaker, and two sons: Michael Benedict, and Mitchell (Venessa) Benedict, all of Gravel Switch, KY,; two sisters: Jeffnye (Robin) Strey of Danville, KY and Geneva Richardson of Paris, KY, and two brothers: Louis Richardson of Demossville, KY and Lafe "Pete" (Shannon) Wheeler of Lexington, KY,; she also has six grandchildren: Jay, Dustin,Amanda, Brea, Layla & Nathaniel, three great grandchildren: Addian, Aaron & Karter. She is predeceased by her step father, Lafe Wheeler, a brother, Herbert Richardson, three sisters, Judith Lowe, Alice and Gladys Wheeler.
Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Wednesday, with a Memorial service at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
