Mary Lee Carmickle Cinnamon, 88, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday, May 8, 2021, at her home. Born May 28, 1932, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Hubert and Minnie Etta (Meredith) Carmickle. Mary was an LPN and worked as industrial nurse for Fischer's and Hallmack Manufacturing as well as local nursing homes. Mary was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church and attended the Temple Baptist Church in Danville. She was the widow of Leon Cinnamon Sr. Survivors include: one daughter: Robin (James Paul) Murray one sister: Dolores Cinnamon both of Harrodsburg, KY, Several Grandchildren & Step Grandchildren; One Step Great Grandchild. Mary was preceded in death by her son; Leon Cinnamon Jr., a sister; Ruth Pinkston and brother; R.T. Carmickle. Funeral services will be conducted by James McCarroll and Steven Dresen, 1 pm Wednesday; May 12 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: David Cinnamon, Shannon Murray, Jeremy Coy, Erik Cinnamon, Bobby Long and Donald Sexton. Visitation will be 11 am until the time of the service, Wednesday, Harrodsburg, KY.
