Obituary of Bob Payne Jr

Bobby Ray Payne, Jr, 54, Fiancée of Amy Peavler Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born December 2, 1966, in Fayette County, he was the son of Kathy Locker. Bob was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was an avid motorcycle rider. He was a pipeline laborer for the Laborers Local 189 Union in Lexington. Survivors include: his fiancée; Amy Peavler, daughter: Jessica Southerland; Biological Mother , Kathy Locker, and many friends that he considered family. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Bob and Brenda Payne. Visitation will be Noon-2pm Saturday; May 15 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Which will lead up to a Memorial Service at 2 pm, Conducted by Thaddeus Hart. In Lieu of flowers, make donations to the charity of your choice in his honor. There will be a Gathering of Friends at the American Legion 45 Spears Ln, Danville, KY 40422, for any that would like to “ride their bikes” over.
