Clarence Thomas Goodpaster, 80, Harrodsburg, husband of Doris Robinson Goodpaster, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at home. Born May 18, 1941, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Jessie and Myrtle Royalty Goodpaster. Clarence was a retired farmer, member at Salvisa Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing and playing Rook. Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter, Sherry (Danny) G. Brock of Harrodsburg; three sons, Kenny (Eulaine) B. Goodpaster, Jimmy Goodpaster and Len (Tammy) Goodpaster, all of Harrodsburg; one sister, Katherine Short of Salvisa; six grandchildren, Charissa (Bruce) Wade, Christen (John) Durbin, Shannon (Keith) Dean, Jordan (Kim) Goodpaster, Caleb Goodpaster and Jamie (Kendra) Goodpaster; great grandchildren, Mia, Alexa, Austin Marie,Tucker, Briggs, Whitley, Kylee, Molly B, Myla Dale and Rowan. Clarence was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Dale, Austin and Jaysa Goodpaster, and three brothers, Willie B. and Marvin Horn and Bobby Goodpaster. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, June 28, 2021, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jonathan Jones and Lynn Goodpaster. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, June 27 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers: Jamie, Caleb and Jordan Goodpaster, Bruce Wade, John Durbin and Keith Dean. Memorials are suggested to any charity of one's choice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
