Jeanene Thompson, 81, wife of Kelly Thompson, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at the Lexington Country Place, Lexington, KY. Born November 14, 1939, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Francis (Sexton) Knight. Jeanene was a retired teacher in the Harrodsburg Independent School District, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Paige (Jay) Cleveland of Franklin, TN; one son, Stuart (Amanda) Thompson of Lexington, KY; one brother, Allen Knight; grandchildren, Alaina and Rhett Thompson, Harris and Tibbie Cleveland.
Graveside services 1:30 PM, Monday, July 26, 2021, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY, by Dr. Paul Gibson. Visitation will be 10 AM until 12:30 PM Monday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
