Billy Joe “Bud” Westerfield Jr., 64, Harrodsburg, husband of Teresa Buckner Westerfield, died Wed., Aug 4, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born March 7, 1957, in Danville, he was the son of the late Billy Joe and DeLayne Souleyrette Westerfield. He was a retired warehouse manager for Essity and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Danville. Other survivors include: two sons, Clay (Krystal) Westerfield, Ulster, PA, and Casie (Taylor Goodlett) Westerfield, Danville; a daughter, Jessica (Stevie) Elliott, Harrodsburg; a sister, Kathy Westerfield, Danville; five grandchildren, Alexis Jane Westerfield, Zachary Michael Westerfield, Josie Lynn Elliott, Evan Clay Westerfield, Gracie Makay Elliott. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021, at The Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Derek Baker. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, August 6, 2021, Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Jamey Vaughn, Donny Turner, Cary Keebortz, Troy Thompson, Brandon Lane and Matt Horn. Memorials are suggested to Saint Jude‘s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis TN. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdillfuneralchapel.com.
