Clovis Roy, 78, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Shirley Releford Roy, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell - James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born May 30, 1943, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Delmer and Francis (Gadberry) Roy. Clovis was a retired farmer and employee for Anderson Circle Farms.
Survivors include: one son, David Roy of Harrodsburg, KY; three brothers, Leon & Colman Roy, Harrodsburg, and Tommy Ray Roy, Cincinnati; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita King and Fayrene Phillips.
Funeral services Burial will follow in Burgin Memorial Garden, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers: Steve & Ricky Releford, Johnny & Stevie Phillips, Tommy Campbell and Chris Curtsinger. Honorary bearer: Jody Briscoe.
