Obituary of Dennis D. Worthington

Dennis Worthington, 60, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Dena Holderman Worthington, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born December 15, 1960, in Boyle County, he was the son of Jessie Lee (Anness) Worthington and the late Bobby Joe Worthington. Dennis was a local Entrepreneur, auctioneer and owner and operator of Five D’s Communications. In addition to his wife, other survivors include: two daughters: Deidre (John Martin) Warner and Devon (Mason) Ward of Harrodsburg, KY; his mother Jessie Lee (Anness) Worthington; two sisters: Cathy (Keith) Cloud and Teresa (Scott) Bandura, all of Danville, KY, and one brother: Donnie (Debi) Worthington of Springfield, KY; Six Grandchildren:, Ayden, Zoey, Shawn, Nick & Luke Warner and, Bryson Ward. Dennis was preceeded in death by a son: Dustin Dale Worthington. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Funeral services, conducted by Terry Morrison, David Upchurch and George Smith will be 1 pm Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Josh Worthington, Jared Worthington, Hunter Adkisson, Kody Cloud, Brian Settles, Frankie Price, Chad Holderman and Chris Holderman. Honorary Bearers will be: Kenny Hooper, Bryan Walker, Rig Dees, Chris Hill, Jackie Major, Ayden Warner, Bryson Ward, Jerry Smothers, Tanner Perry, Jayce Matherly and Christopher Cloud. Memorials are suggested to: Dustin Worthington Memorial Fund, 436 Arrowhead Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
