Julie Denise Wade Barnett, 41, wife of Willis Kendall Barnett, died Wed., Oct. 13, 2021, at her home. Born Aug. 1, 1980, she was the daughter of Dennis and Mary June (Caton) Wade, Harrodsburg. Julie was an accountant for the KY Dept. of Revenue and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. She loved her children and being a mom, as well as needle point and monogramming. Other survivors include: two children, Kendall Denise and Wade Caton Barnett, Harrodsburg; a brother, Chad (Leslie Darland) Wade, Mercer Co.; a niece, Emma Wade; a longtime special friend, Saralyn Bugg Collier; uncles and aunts. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Brenda Jo Wade. Services 11 AM, Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Jordan Simpson and Stephen Brogli. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 4 PM until 7 PM, Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at Ransdell’s. Pallbearers: Jeff Morrison, Mark, Bruce, Tim, Chad, Kenny, and David Wade. Memorials are suggested to a Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention organization of one’s choice.
