Nancy Cox, 84, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Renny Cox, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born September 15, 1937, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Clark and Edna Mae Searcy Driskell. Nancy was a member at Harrodsburg Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and Cincinnati Reds Fan, who loved watching her grandkids play Sports and flying w/ Renny.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Carla (Jeff) Montgomery of Harrodsburg; one son, Kevin (Ella) Hale of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Vena (Raymond) Bowen and Rosemary Sewell; three brothers, Rodger (Betty) Driskell, Harry (Diane) Driskell and Stephen (Merry) Driskell; she also has five grandchildren, Dustin Hale, Greg (Stephanie) Hale, Daniel (Tara) Barrett, Jill (David) Wease and Heath Montgomery; three great grandchildren, Katie Hale, Jack Barrett and McKinlee Wease. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Hale, and siblings, Darin Driskell, Roxie Loggins, Billie Stierle and Patsy Brown.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY., by Robert Defoor. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers: Dustin Hale, Greg Hale, Daniel Barrett, Heath Montgomery, David Wease and Jeremy Bowen.
Memorials are suggested to: American Lung Association.
