Donald Ray Phelps, 73, Stanford, KY, husband of Patricia Ann Shannon Phelps, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at his home. Born August 21, 1948, in Wilburn, KY he was the son of the late Cecil and Nora Harp Phelps. Don was a retired truck driver, and loved to tinker with cars or anything that needed fixing.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Nora Phelps (Robbie Byrne) and one son: Donald Phelps (Alva Smith); one sister: Betty West (Everett); he also has four grandchildren, Ryrne Byrne, Taylor Johnson, Kayla Phelps (Cutter Smith) and Logan Phelps (Jennifer); one great-grandchild, Skyler Phelps; Brother In Law, G.T. Shannon; Nieces & Nephews, Leia, Norman, Sherri Shannon, Vivian Scott, Dinah Ratliff; Tim Shannon, Anthony West, Maurice West and Delreese Phelps.
A Memorial Celebration will be planned for the future.
