Jacqueline “Jackie” Sims, 69, wife of John T. Sims, died Wed., Nov. 17, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell – James B. Haggin Hospital. Born May 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James “Jimmy” and Lillian (Poulter) Dismukes. Jackie was a retired Research Coordinator and 40 year employee of UK Radiation Medicine, and was a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her husband include: two sons, John Thomas Sims and Jeremy Todd Sims, both of Mercer Co., KY.
Services 1 PM, Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Logan Hazelwood. Visitation 5 PM, Sunday, Ransdell’s. Burial will be private.
Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society.
