Peggy Hurst, 73, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Martin Earl Hurst, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at home. Born February 27, 1948, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Haston and Violet Collier Steele. She was owner and operator of Friends and Family Restaurant and a member at Doctor’s Fork Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: six daughters: Becky Taylor, Donna (Tommy) Brummett, Shelia (Jeff) Turner, Paula Hurst, Brandi Hurst, all of Harrodsburg, KY, and Sheila (Jason) Perkins of Lawrenceburg, KY and one son: Marty Hurst of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister: Brenda (Tony) Mobley; she also has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, December 10, 2021. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 10-2pm Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers: Marty Hurst, Michael Taylor, Jason Mobley, Freddie Taylor, Clayton Turner and Jeff Turner. Honorary Bearers: Grandchildren.
