Myrgle from the Harrodsburg Historical Society was always so helpful and kind to us as my dad and I researched the low Dutch files of our “Cousins” and family history. We shared membership in the Harrodsburg Historical Society also. We also had the pleasure of being in a mystery dinner at HHS that we were characters in! She was a great actress I say!!! My dad and I had the opportunity to be a part of a flag retirement at the Old Mud that she had helped organize through HHS and DAR also.
I enjoyed many conversations about our Patriot grandparents, families and associations with the DAR and SAR. She will be truly missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

Myrgle was one of the first people I got to know when we first moved to Harrodsburg. When I joined HHS she was always there to help with decorating for occasions. She was the Regent at DAR when I joined. Always happy and smiling; will miss her greatly. It was a joy to have known her.
