Wallace Aaron Gray, 90, husband of Ethel Mae Lester Gray, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, in Lexington. Born July 22, 1931, in Boyle Co., KY, he was the son of the late Elver Turk and Margaret Edith (Carpenter) Gray. He was a retired farmer, a Korean War Marine Veteran, a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, and had attended the Bohon Road Baptist Church. Other survivors include: one daughter, Teresa (Jimmy) Tewmey, Lebanon, TN; two sons, Jeff Gray and Travis (Marci) Gray, both of Harrodsburg; a daughter-in-law, Sue Abrams Gray; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; special friend & niece, Kenny and Eulaine Goodpaster. He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Gray, and one sister, Maxine Bottoms. Funeral Services will be 2 PM, Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 PM until 8 PM, Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, Ransdell’s. Active pallbearers: Adam Gray, Daarik Gray, Hudson Taylor, Joshua Gray, Mike Stanaland, Wes Tewmey, Logan Steele, Mark Wade, & John Allen. Honorary Pallbearers: Glenn Cocanougher, Addison Cocanougher Mark Wilkerson, John Elliott, Johnny Lakes, David Ransdell, Darrell Ellis, William Graves, Chris Cohee.
