Obituary of Forrest B. Devine

Forrest B. Devine, 95, widower of Josephine Goodlett Devine, died Monday, January 3, 2022, at his home. Born April 5, 1926, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Tom Nat and Sally (Gibson) Devine. Mr. Devine was a US Army veteran of the WWII, was a retired Corning Inc. employee, and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kathy (Tony) D. Pankey of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, Mark Devine of Shepherdsville, KY; four grandchildren, Angela Pankey, Anthony Neal Pankey, Ian Christian Devine, and Emily Foley; one great grandchild, Shafer Mathis Pankey. He was preceded in death by four siblings, C. H., William and Curtis Devine, and Susie Majeske.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel byJoe Cooper. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 12 Noon until 2 PM, Friday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are: Herbie & Andy Ashton, Ian Devine, Neal Pankey, Glenn Devine and Hanley McMullin.
Memorials are suggested to: Fellowship Baptist Church, 502 Ada Drive, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
