Obituary of David C. Jones

David C. Jones David C. Jones, age 84, 851 S. College St., Apt. C2, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at his residence. Born October 18, 1920 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Samuel B. and Violet (Carter) Jones. He served during World War II in the Army Air Corps. He was a retired Technician for the McCoy and McCoy Co. of Lexington, and a member of the St. Philips Episcopal Church. Survivors include: Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He was predeceased by four sisters: Marian Weber, Mina Rea Perlow, Elizabeth Myers and Virginia Wade. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 AM Tuesday, Jan. 4th in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 8th at the St. Phillips Episcopal Church by Joan Smith. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Philips Episcopal Church, 118 W. Poplar St. Harrodsburg, KY.
