I visited Mary Ann Carey at the Willows many times with her daughter Pam. She was a kind and loving lady, mother, and grandmother. I held her hand and she remarked about how long it had been since a man held her hand. She was able to keep a sense of humor and cheerful disposition even in difficult times. She loved her family and friends. God has called her home to join those family members who departed before her. She now rests in the arms of the angels. But we find comfort in knowing that we will see her again. She will be missed by many.

Pam,
I was sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was one of the sweetest people I ever met. She loved nursing and caring for her patients. I worked with her a short time when I was in nursing school. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
