Obituary of Francis John Zammit

Francis John “Frank” Zammit, 75, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Nancy Kraxberger Zammit, together for 55 years, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born October 24, 1946, in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Carmelo "Charles" and Marie (Brown) Zammit. Frank was a retired Telephone & Alarm Installer, was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the DAV and the American Legion Boyle Post 46. He was a private pilot having flown helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, and he enjoyed air shows, as well as playing pool.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Tiffany (Rick Reed) Zammit of Mercer Co.; two sons, Brandon (Joleen) Zammit of CA and John (Mindy) Zammit, Mercer Co.; six grandchildren, Chad Reed, Bailey, Shelby, Charli, Isla, & Reese Zammit.
Funeral services will be 6 PM, Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, by Pastor Kevin Cummins, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 5 PM until 6 PM, Monday, Ransdell’s.
