Obituary of Harry "Pat" Ransdell

Harry Patterson “Pat” Ransdell, Jr. Harry Patterson “Pat” Ransdell, Jr., age 59, Robards Court, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born August 18, 1945 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Harry P. and Marie Adalin (Cloyd) Ransdell, Sr. He was a self employed painting contractor and a member of the Christian Union Church, Salvisa. Survivors include: one son: Todd Ransdell, Burgin; two daughters, Stacy Reister and Christy Cheek both of Harrodsburg; one sister: Mary Ann Fegley, Lexington; five grandchildren Kayla Brooke Ransdell, Autumn Dale Ransdell, Mackenzie Reister, Micah Cheek, and Ashlyn Cheek; and a special companion, Patricia Hampton. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 8th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Johnny Hockersmith. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Fred Anderson, Greg “Chubby” Anderson, J.C. Young, Terry Currens, Keith Currens, and M.B. “Bubby” Isham. Honorary bearers are Jeffery Sewell, Wayne Sewell, and Cliff Prewitt. Visitation will be Friday, January 7th from 5 until 8 pm and Saturday after 7:30 am at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Christian Union Church, POB 153, Salvisa, KY 40372.
