Marguerite Anne Terhune Marguerita Anne Terhune, age 86, Dixie Manor, Harrodsburg, widow of Horace Terhune, died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born March 5, 1918 in Mt. Vernon, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine (Savage) Bauersfeld. She served during World War II in the Army Nurse Corp. She was a nurse at Haggin Hospital for 28 years and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church where she was a member of the Christian Workers Sunday School Class, Quilters and the June Stanley Circle. Survivors include: , two daughters: Beverly Carr and Anita (Billy) Seay of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters: Thelma Hagen of Alamito, CA June DeLeo of Barnega, NJ; a Sister-in-Law, Valoise Anness of Harrodsburg, KY; Five grandchildren: Melissa Carr, Michael Carr, Katherine Carr, Genny (Harold) Best and Alice Seay; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 11 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Chase and Harold Best, Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Keith Anness, Kerry Anness, Mike Carr, Tommy Coffman, Rufus Carr, Jack Pearson, Bacon Moore, John Baughman, Christian Workers Sunday School Class, June Stanley Circle Members Visitation will be Monday, January 10 from after 5:00 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Harrodsburg Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
