Obituary of Julie Baker

Julie Marie Baker, 44, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Rick Baker, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born January 3, 1978, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of Bill (Nancy) Baker, Harrodsburg, and the late Rita Cannada. Julie was a traveling Registered Nurse, recently working at St. Joseph Hospital East, Lexington, KY, and was a member of Christ The Head Missionary Church, Danville, KY. Other survivors include: one son, Braedy (Grace Nims) Johnson of SC; three step children, Courtney, Morgan, and Trey Baker; god daughter, Desiree Patton; one brother James Austin Steele of Harrodsburg; three sisters: Jessica (Tim) Woodward, Tabitha (Noni) Bernabe, and Tiffany (Memo) Beltran, all of Mercer Co.; two step sisters, Lisa (Josh) Randolph and Samantha Stephens, both of Mercer Co.; two step brothers, Steven Roberts of Lexington, KY and Justin (Brittany) Randolph of Mercer Co.; five grandchildren, Amara, Kingston, Aianna, & Kehalani Hutchins, and Layla Baker, In-laws: Corliss, Kissandra, Terry and Daryl Baker. She was preceded in death by a step mother, Beverly Baker. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thur., April 21, 2022, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derek Baker, Trent Baker, and Terry Gilliam. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 2 PM, Thursday, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are: Tim Woodward, Chris, Trent & Derek Baker, Noni Bernabe, Austin Steele, Mason Baker and Brett Buchanan.
