Obituary of Frances Clay Teater

Frances Clay Teater Francis Clay Teater, age 88, Parkview Avenue, Harrodsburg, widow of Z.B. Teater, Jr. died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the Ephriam McDowell RMC, Danville. Born September 17, 1916 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Elonzo Clay and Cora (Lloyd) Cunningham. She was a graduate of Salvisa High School, a former beautician and co-owner of C & T Market, was an avid bowler where she was a member of the Coffee League and the KY Colonel League. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church where she was a member of the Quilters and the Bethany Sunday School Class. Survivors include: one son: Zenah B. Teater III, Harrodsburg; one daughter: Jane Teater Bruno of Denver, CO; one sister: Ellen C. Hurt, Harrodsburg; one brother: A C. Cunningham, Lawrenceburg, and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 12th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Don Chase. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Tom Moore, Dan Chilton, Carroll Cunningham, Roy Cunningham, Josh Teater, and Bobby Ritter. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 11th after 5:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Harrodsburg Christian Church or Quilters.
