Obituary of Brenda Stanley

Brenda Carol Stanley, 78, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of James “Jim” Arthur Stanley, died Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born October 9, 1943, in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late William Foster and Virginia May (Shewmaker) Huffman. Brenda was a retired Personnel Clerk for Corning Inc and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Jennifer Fae Parker Bradley of Jessamine Co., KY; one son, Jeffrey "Jeff" James Stanley of Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren, Jenna Marie Bradley, Lindsey Shay Bradley, and Kayla Marie Stanley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Foster Huffman, an uncle, Billy Shewmaker, and an aunt, Dorothy Scrogham. Graveside services will be 1 PM, Monday, May 9, 2022, by John Hockersmith III, at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.
