Betty Lucille Fain, 86, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of 67 ½ years to William C. Fain, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, at her daughters home. Born March 2, 1936, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Lee and Lucille (Honican) Anderson. Betty worked as a telephone operator but was a homemaker. She was also a head start bus driver, and member of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, William C. Fain, other survivors include: two daughters: Cathy (Jerry) Preston of Harrodsburg, and Nancy (Mark) McCray of Lexington; one sister: Connie Anderson of Nicholasville, and one brother: Scotty (Connie) Anderson of Danville; she also has five grandchildren, Charles Coleman (Mandy) James, III, Will (Lexie) James, Wesley (Riley) McCray, Amy (Matt) Stapanowich and Amanda James and six great-grandchildren; Zoe James, Ryker James, Jacob Justice, Alex Justice, Bella Craig and Ziya Alexander NOTICE: Due to current Covid-19 conditions, there will be no public visitation or service. A private burial will be held at Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery later. Pallbearers will be: Coleman James, Will James, Wesley McCray, Eddie Fain, Mark McCray and Jerry Preston. Memorials are suggested to: Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422.
