Mildred W. Lewis

Mildred W. Lewis, age 77, Rosewood Street, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.

Born March 19, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late T.R. and Easter (Patrick) Watts. She was a self employed private duty nurse and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter: Patricia Phillips, Harrodsburg, K; three brothers: Leslie (Brenda) Watts, Walton, KY, Luther “Billy” Watts, Harrodsburg, and David (Linda) Watts of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Maurice Ballard Watts, John Frank Watts, Allen Watts, and Joe Watts, and by two sisters Frances Murphy and Virgie Peavler.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 18th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. James Harley, Kenny Watts & Michael West. Burial will be in the New Providence Cemetery, in Mercer County.

Pallbearers are: Lesley Watts, Jr., Kevin Watts, Alvin Rose Watts, Lawrence Watts, Keith Watts, Jeff Watts, and Roger Bast. Honorary bearers are Wm Luther Watts, Robert Peavler, David Bruce Peavler, Everett Gary Peavler, Hubert Peavler, and Audrey Dale Peavler.

Visitation will be after 4:30 pm Monday, January 17th and prior to the service Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
