Obituary of Griffin Baker

Griffin Cole Baker, 13, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday, August 20, 2022, at UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born April 30, 2009, in Danville, KY, he was the son of Stacy Thompson Baker and Jared (Angela) Baker, Harrodsburg. He was an 8th Grade Student at Mercer Co. King Middle School, where he played baseball and was a member of the FFA. Griffin loved to hunt, fish, and work on the family farm. He always enjoyed helping others, and the last thing Griffin was able to do in this life was give so that others may live. Survivors other than his parents include: Sister, Macy Baker of Harrodsburg; Grandparents, Rodney & Mary Alice Thompson, and David & Pat Baker, all of Harrodsburg; Step Brothers, Kyle, Austin, & Jonathan Logdon of Harrodsburg; Step Sister, Emily Mattingly of Versailles, KY; Two Aunts, Shelley (Shane) Wall of Lawrenceburg, KY, Davette (Donnie) Swiney of Elizabethtown, KY; Three Cousins, Reiss (Erica) Baxter of Harrodsburg, Jade Swiney of Elizabethtown, KY, Kason & Rhett Wall of Lawrenceburg, KY. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at The Carpenter's Christian Church by Greg Warren and Doug Wesley. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be from 4 PM until 8 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, The Carpenter's Christian Church. Pallbearers: Kyle, Austin, & Jonathan Logdon, Shane Wall, Jackson Hazelwood, Tyler Stagner, David Baker, Rodney Thompson.
