Dennis served as the Ombudsman at Kenwood healthcare facility in Richmond for a period of time and loved our residents. He always had a smile and conversation anytime you were around him. He will be missed.

To Laura, Gail and Gerry. I had the honor to serve with Denny at the Battle Creek Police Department. I rode with Dennis when I was a cadet, and as a patrol officer after serving my time on a foot beat. He was the consummate professional and an excellent trainer. Denny was bright, brave and dedicated to his police service. He used compassion, a broad smile, his unique sense of humor, and the fact that he personally knew all the bad guys (from going to Battle Creek Central) to diffuse difficult situations. When my fellow BCPD veterans gather, our adventures with Dennis McWilliams are frequently recalled and discussed with friendship and warmth. I can imagine the heartache of losing Dennis and Jenny so close together is terrific, and I pray you are sustained by the wonderful memories of such wonderful people. Terry Tobias Grand Rapids
