Kim Eugene Swiger, 71, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Diane L. VanDunk, died Friday, September 30, 2022, at the U.K. Medical Center. Born June 18, 1951, in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late Conard Eugene and Shirley (Hurd) Swiger. He was a retired Professional Groundskeeper for Golfing and Baseball Venues.
Other survivors include: a son, Michael Hanek; two brothers, John Wallace Swiger and Norman Swiger; a sister, Debra Donella; three grandchildren, Skye Mancini, Autumn Hanek, and Brandon Hanek. He was preceded in death by a son, Mathew Hanek.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, Thursday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Inc..
