Obituary of Carter Johnson Jr.

Carter Charles Johnson Jr., 76, Harrodsburg, KY, died Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home. Born July 23, 1946, in Uniontown, PA, he was the son of the late Carter Charles and Ruth Dezalam Johnson. He was a maintenance man at area manufacturing factories. Carter was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include: Son, Brandon Lee Johnson; Daughter, Joyce Snyder (Rick); step-daughters, Elizabeth Bowels and Jennifer Rose; eight grandchildren, Desiree, Marcus, Cayleigh, Chloe Jessi, Jasmine, Meredith & Snyder; great-grandson, Jayden Jeffries. Carter was the last of his family and was preceded in death by nine siblings; Bobby, Caroline, Charlette, Addie, Rebecca, Linda, Mary, Elizabeth and Patty. Graveside Service with military honors will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with burial to follow. Pallbearers will be; Desiree Jeffries, Luke Richardson, Joshua Sadderly, David Bartley and Roy "CJ" Miller. Memorial donations are to be directed towards the funeral home to assist with expenses.
