David Thompson Darland, 51, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Chrisi Medley Burton-Darland, died Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born January 5, 1971, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of Tommy Darland and the late Glenda (Baker) Darland Mitchell. He was a Painter for Patrick Cooper Painting, and was a member of the Carpenter's Christian Church. Survivors include: his father, Tommy Darland and step dad Dennis Mitchell; three sons, Daniel (Brittany) Burton of Crittenden, Jonathan Burton and Chris Burton of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Nicole (Jewell) Brown of Lexington and Dereka Murphy of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren, Aiden Fryman, Addison Fryman, Jackson Burton, Emma Rose Burton, Leighton Lucas, Anniston Burton and Chandler Burton; three neices, Hillary Murphy, Catalynn (Devin) Lorch, Summer Murphy; two nephews, Alex Brown and Cooper Brown; a great niece, Ella Rose Lorch; special cousin, Cathy (Brandon) Shope; Mother in law, Roberta Machal; sister in law, Teri Giles; and his partner in crime, Brandon Taylor. Funeral Service will be 7:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2022, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Greg Warren. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Friday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
