Lonnie Dean Hatchel, 81, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Mary Agnes Royalty Hatchel, died Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, Lexington, KY Born April 18, 1941, in Casey Co., KY, he was the son of the late Charlie Lee and Flossie (Hafley) Hatchel. He was a retired Shipping Clerk for American Greetings, a KY Colonel, and a member of the Methodist Church. Other survivors include: Son, Michael (Vickie) Hatchel of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandson, Bryce Hatchel of Harrodsburg, KY; Sister, Delores Clements of Campbellsville, KY; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion by Randy Douglas. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Monday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Inc.. Pallbearers: Bryce Hatchel, Randy Douglas, George Douglas, Bob McCloud, Roy McCall, and Jerry Burns. Memorials are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice, 1733 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40504. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
