Melvin Harold Chilton, 79, Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, KY. Born October 1, 1943, in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Melvin and Margaret (Routt) Chilton. He was a retired L & N Rail Salvage employee and farmer.
Other survivors include: Two Sons, Kevin Dale Chilton of Chaplin, KY and Christopher Douglas (Katrina) Chilton of Harrodsburg, KY; Sister, Hazel Fraine, Frankfort, KY; Thirteen Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren. He was preceded son death by a son, Harold Wayne Chilton.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Wed., December 7, 2022, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Inc. by Pastors Rocky and Denise Wallace. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Inc..
Pallbearers: Tyler Goodlett, Dakota Goodlett, Aaron Chilton, Michael Chilton, Edwin Riley, & Frank Martin.
Memorials are suggested to assist with final expenses.
