Joyce Jenkins, 87, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Stanley Jenkins, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab, Harrodsburg. Born December 24, 1935, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Willam Myers "Jack" and Edith (Montgomery) Alexander. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters: Beth (Stanley Anderson) Jenkins of Harrodsburg, KY and Franda Jackson, Scott Co.; and one son: David (Phyllis) Jenkins of OH; one sister: June (Joe) Gerlach of Harrodsburg, KY; she also has eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Stanley, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cindy Darlene Jenkins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022,Conducted by Barry Jeffries and Andy Mikels, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Dylan McGinnis, Aaron Bailey, Dakota Barrett, Alex Perez, Brett Anness, Brock McGinnis, Joe Dale Gerlach, A. J. Johnson and John Luke Hullings.
