Obituary of Ada Peavler

Ada Peavler, 96, Danville, KY, widow of Marvin Peavler, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home. Born August 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter and the late Farie Marie (Whittaker) Browning.
Survivors include: one daughter: Marvina Cocanougher and one son: Roger Dale Peavler of Danville, KY; one sister: Marlene B. McFatridge and one brother: Eddie Sherrell Browning of Harrodsburg, KY; she also has six grandchildren, Kardell Morris; Kaywood Morris, Lynea Morris Major, Anita C. Qualls, Cassidy L. Cocanougher; and Trey N. Cocanougher; thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Marvin, Ada was preceded in death by two daughters; Linda Morris Hasty and Rowena Joan Peavler, sister, Juanita B. Estes and brothers, Othel and Edwin P. Browning.
Funeral services will be Tuesday January 3 at 2 pm, conducted by Jerry Browning and Luke Major. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Kardell Morris, Karson Morris, Mason Cocanougher, Ethan Cocanougher, Connie Estes and Luke Major. Honorary bearers are: Loretta Baker, Kaywood Morris, Lynea Major, Anita Qualls, Cassidy Cocanougher and Trey Cocanougher.
Memorials are suggested to: St. Jude Children’s Hospitals.
