Elizabeth Jane Bowles, 45, Harrodsburg, KY, mother of Desiree Jeffries, died Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born July 29, 1977, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of Barbara J. (Siler) Johnson and the late Gary Ritchie. Libby was a housekeeper and a friend to many. Survivors include: a daughter: Desiree Jeffries of Harrodsburg and son: Marcus Cummins of Casey County; her mother Barbara Johnson; a sister: Jennifer Rose of Harrodsburg; she also has a grandson, Jayden Jefferies and nieces, Cayleigh Merideth & Chloe Moore. Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday; January 30 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 11-1 Monday, also at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Brad Quinn, Larry Siler, J.T. Osbourne, John Howard, Joshua Satterly and Wesley Osbourne. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com. Memorial donations are asked to be sent to the funeral home to help with expenses.
