Obituary of Stephen Wesley Key

Stephen Wesley Key, 65, Danville, KY, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born December 26, 1957, in Jefferson County, KY, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Patricia Jean (Brown) Key. He was a US Navy Veteran and was a member of the Baptist Church
Survivors include: two daughters, Emily Diane Key and Rachel Patricia Key, both of Danville, KY; two sisters, Laura Anne Drury of Waddy, KY, and Katherine Jean Carrender of Harrodsburg, KY; half-sister, Kathleen Garza of Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by a grandson Axel Easterling-Key, and a brother, John Kevin Key.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by C. R. Payne. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 2:00 PM, Monday at Ransdell’s.
Pallbearers: Matt Robinson, Gary Crank, Braeden Baker, Anthony Yantis, Trey Drury and Cameron Gastineau.
