Obituary of Cordelia Huffman

Cordelia Ann Yeager Huffman, 88, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, widow of the John B. Huffman, died Wednesday, February 22,2023, at Signature Healthcare of Harrodsburg.
Born July 19, 1934, in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Margie Griffey Yeager. She was retired from Corning Glass Works where she worked for 34 years. She attended Fairview School and was a 1952 graduate of Harrodsburg High School. She was a member of the Emma Watts MEG Sunday school class at Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she also taught Sunday school class in the children’s ministry for many years. She volunteered at the Christian Life Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, working crossword puzzles, reading, playing rook with her friends, and canning vegetables from her garden. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and watching Kentucky Wildcat basketball.
Survivors include: Children: Michael Huffman (Denise) of Bowling Green, KY, Susan McIntosh (Lee), Robert B. Huffman (Cathy) of Bowling Green, KY, Sandy Winburn (Joey Webb); brother, Cletis Yeager of Decatur, IL; Grandchildren, Jeremy Coy (Chelsea), Mandy Heacock (Matthew), John-Michael Huffman, Whitney Jernigan (Matt), Robert F. Huffman (Laura), Hannah Fenwick (William Hendrix), Kristen Huffman, step-grandsons Callahan McIntosh & JB Carter. Great-Grandchildren: Kyleigh Coy, Carson Coy, Allie Fenwick, Emma Fenwick, Cora Fenwick, Lynnlee Heacock, Harper Heacock, Benjamin Jernigan, Madeleine Jernigan, and step great-grandchildren Cheyelle McIntosh& Casan McIntosh. Great-great Grandchildren: Dallas Griffin, Houstyn Brown. She was preceded in death by siblings, James Rudolph Yeager, Donald Yeager, Azille Yeager Satterly, and grandson, Joshua James Huffman.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Dr. Robert Defoor. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5-8 PM, Monday, Ransdells.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Coy, Matthew Heacock, Matt Jernigan, John-Michael Huffman, Robert F. Huffman, JB Carter, William Hendrix, Carson Coy.
Memorials are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church children’s ministry.
