Obituary of Alan S. Hendren

Alan S. Hendren, 58, Danville, KY, died Friday, March 3, 2023, at the UK Medical Center, Lexington. Born December 24, 1964, in Mercer County, he was the son of William Edward Hendren and Judy Ann (Schooling) Hendren. Alan was an employee of R.R. Donnelley and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church Survivors other than his parents include: one son, Donnie (Hattie) Walker of Hibbing, MN; five sisters, Lynne (Troy) Branham of Mt. Washington, KY, Jamie (John) Gibson of Harrodsburg, KY, Kathy Hendren Dyke of Richmond, KY, Kristi Hendren of Harrodsburg, KY, Shelby Snellen of Mt. Washington, KY; five step-sisters, Diane (Mike) Reynolds of Lexington, KY, Sheree Hayes of Bardstown, KY, Julie Hayes of Bardstown, KY, Laurie Snellen of Lebanon Junction, KY and Mary Lou (Chuck) Hellard of Lebanon Junction, KY; two step-brothers, Guy Edward (Cecilia) Snellen of Lebanon Junction, KY and David Eric (Maranela) Snellen of Bardstown, KY; two grandchildren, James William & Anna Marie Walker of MN; his partner, Anita Sallee. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Pastor Orlando Mays and David Buchanan. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are: Jesse Bratcher, Rick Breeden, David Buchanan, Jaylin Hendren, Troy Branham, Thomas Jones Jr., and Dakota Sallee.
