Obituary of Emma Katherine Davenport

Emma Katherine Davenport, 90, Lexington, KY, died Monday, March 13, 2023, at the Sayre Christian Village, Lexington. Born September 4, 1932, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Emma (Gordon) Davenport. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Federal Reserve Bank and was a member of the Maxwell St. Presbyterian Church, Lexington, Ky. Emma graduated from Harrodsburg High School, received her BA degree from Centre College, and her MCE degree from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education. Survivors include: Niece, Jean (Gary) Buchanan of Nicholasville, KY. Funeral services 11 AM, Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Maxwell St. Presbyterian Church, 180 E Maxwell St, Lexington by Matt Falco. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorials are suggested to: Harrodsburg United Presbyterian Church, 326 South Main Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
