Roy Jeffrey Rogers Roy Jeffrey Rogers, age, Louisville Road, Salvisa, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at his home. Born in Anderson County, Dec. 1, 1944, he was the son of Roy H. and Lucy (Stratton) Rogers of Anderson County. He was a retired employee of Lexmark and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors besides his parents include: his wife, Betty (Harley) Rogers, Salvisa; one daughter, Janna Rogers, Harrodsburg; two sons: Kent Rogers, Harrodsburg, and Keith Rogers, Mercer County: two sisters: Patricia Sweasy and Sandra Dunning both of Mercer County; four brothers: Jimmy Rogers, Mike Rogers, Roger Rogers, and Tim Rogers all of Anderson County; four grandchildren, Courtney, Chloe, Teagan and Logan Rogers, and Nathan Doughty. Funeral service will be 2:30 pm Tuesday, February 15th at the Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Jack Guerin and Reverend David Culp officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Roney Bottom, Bobby Grider, Michael Darland, Ronnie Dailey, Glenn Devine, Tommy Pinkston, Bobby Christerson, and Gary Walton. Honorary bearers are his co-workers. Visitation will be Monday, February 14th after 5:00 PM and Tuesday from 7:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, P.O.
