Billy Harold “Bill” Randolph, 79, Danville, KY, husband of Janice Rousey Randolph, died Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab. Born January 3, 1944, in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Deward and Mary (Price) Randolph. He was the former shareholder and editor of the Harrodsburg Herald. Bill was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church, had served on the James B. Haggin Hospital Board, and was a Mason and past member of the Harrodsburg Rotary Club. Survivors include: his wife, Janice Rousey Randolph, Danville; a daughter, Susan Leann Randolph of Houston, TX; a brother Elwood (Barbara) Randolph, Moreland, KY. Bill was preceded in death by two sons, Brian Keith Randolph and David Drew Randolph, as well as siblings, C. B., Elizabeth, and Nancy. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Morris Trayner and Vola Brown. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery, Hustonville, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until time of the service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are: Slade and Sawyer Ransdell, Rafael Ayala, Jackie Larkins, Skip Stocker, and Donnie Peyton.
