Obituary of Wayne Green

Carl Wayne Green, 79, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Linda Lois Rowland Green, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his home. Born June 30, 1943, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late William Aubrey and Marjorie Emma (Dotson) Green. He was a retired Foreman for Square D and was a member of The Carpenter’s Christian Church. Other survivors include: three daughters, Rebecca LaNeen Brown (Johnny), Leighann Miller (Keith), and Letha Lynn Keebortz (Steve); two step-daughters, Janet Lynn Collins and Robin Kay Combs (Seth); three sisters, Betty Ann Royalty, Lois Logue (Tommy) and Patricia Gayle Green; one brother, Frank Wade Green (Delores); Grandchildren, Kynleigh Grace Miller, Presley Lynn Bradshaw, Beau Thomas Brown, Peyton Leigh Brandshaw; Step Grandchildren, Candace Michele Collins, Timothy Aaron Gulley, Savannah Faith Tolson, Joshua Allen Tolson, and Layson Patrick Pike; Sister In Law, Mary Ann Green; several Nieces & Nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Donald Green, a sister, Dorothy Gay Brock, and two brothers in law, Jackie Royalty and Darrell Brock. Funeral services 11:00 AM Sat., April 1, 2023, at The Carpenter’s Christian Church, by Greg Warren and Jacob Bryant. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the church. Pallbearers are: Johnny Brown, Keith Miller, Steve Keebortz, Beau Brown, Seth Combs, and Aaron Gulley. Honorary Bearers are: The Ken & Clara Dagget’s Wednesday Night Bible Study Group. Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society or to Heritage Hospice.
