My dear, sweet, and strong friend, Mary Ellen -- You were my rock at The Legend of Daniel Boone & Lincoln, both when I was an actor there ('81) and when I became the Resident Artistic Director ('85). I am so glad we have stayed in touch all the years since. I could not have managed being Artistic Director without your incredible guidance and support. Everyone in the company loved you so very very much. You always promised me you'd send me all your photos/slides from the 1985 season when I was directing but then told me you were unable to find them when you looked, that they would turn up at some point. No worries, dear friend, the fabulous memories I have of you are cherished by this "Boonie" and always will be. I had no idea we are the same age. Fly to the heavens with love on your wings and look in on me once in a while if you would. I will love you and all we shared forever and ever. RIP.
