Edith Lois Dean, 72, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Lee Miller Dean, died Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her home. Born October 13, 1950, in Knott County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Combs) Caudill. She was a retired Legal Secretary for Dean, Dean, & Dean Law Office and was a member of The Carpenter's Christian Church.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Alison (Mark) Lausche of Cincinnati, OH, Elaine (Willie C.) Turpin of Harrodsburg, KY and Leslie (Melvin Jr.) Drury of Naples, FL; two sisters, Sharon Caudill of Junction City and Ann Woods of Harrodsburg, KY; five brothers, Doug Caudill of Somerset, KY, Kenny (Sheila) Caudill of Harrodsburg, KY, Charles "Tiny" Caudill of Lawrenceburg, KY, Lennis Caudill of AL and Clarence (Vickie) Caudill of Burgin, KY; six grandchildren, Michael & Kevin Lausche, Andrew & Georgia Turpin, Aliona Drury & Melvin Drury II. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Marsha Wilcher, Doris Bentley, Helen Reynolds, Joyce Caudill, and Jeannie Liddell.

Lois was and is a beautiful soul. Fittingly, she loved the perfume, "Beautiful," by Estee Lauder and wore it always, the scent as vibrant as her warm personality. Lois loved the Lord and was always kind to people. A dedicated wife, and dedicated mother to her children and grand-children, Lois cherished family. Lois will be missed, until we meet her again one day.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3PM until 6PM, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at The Lodge at Logan's Vineyard, 254 Hopewell Road. Harrodsburg, KY 40330. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
