It was such a privilege to know Marilyn. She was my best friend. We worked together in the early nineties and carpooled whenever our employer moved across town. We lost touch over the years but we reconnected a few years ago. When she began loosing her sight, I drove her to doctor and dentist appointments, to the grocery store and to church. She loved Community of Faith Church in Hockley, TX and she encouraged me and my husband Tom to attend. She was also a member of the Tomball Art League and won several ribbons for her artwork. There was never a dull moment with Marilyn. She was feisty and independent. Marilyn came to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter with me and my family and came to a few family reunions in east Texas. Marilyn was family. I loved her and she loved me. Thank you for sharing her with us. I will remember her always. Tom and Melanie Berner & Family
