Vallie Mae Egbert

Vallie Mae Egbert, age 85, 420 Miller Dean Rd, Salvisa, wife of Elmer E. “Tuggle” Egbert, died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at the Heritage Hall Care Ctr., Lawrenceburg, KY.

Born May 19, 1919 in Mercer Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Demetrius and Margaret (Carey) Collier. She was married to Elmer E. “Tuggle” Egbert. She retired after 23 ½ years from Cricketeer Mfg. Co. Survivors in addition to her husband: Elmer E. “Tuggle” Egbert, include one daughter: Linda (Joe) Daugherty of Lexington, KY and one son: Tommy (Judy) Egbert of Salvisa, KY; four Grandchildren, Terry Egbert; Carol Wilson; Dawn Daugherty; and Matt Daugherty; four Great Grandchildren, Emilee Egbert; Cassidy Wilson; Seth Wilson; and Tayla Sturgill.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Terry Morrison and Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.

Pallbearers are: Garnett Collier, Johnny Collier, Gary Adkinson, Connie Shiflett, Larry Siler, Barry Hopewell, Billy Fint.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Alzheimers Association or Hospice.
